Description:
The Lily's Playground Fun Run/Walk 5k will be held at the Huckleberry Trail starting behind the Regal Cinemas location at the New River Valley Mall on Saturday, September 21st.

The 5k is very family friendly so please participate even if you are only walking. Additionally, a 50/50 and a raffle of donated items will also be available for purchase for $1 a ticket.

Schedule:
- Registration: 8:30 am
- Course Discussion: 9:15 am
- 5K Begins: 9:30 am

Registration is $20 for individuals or $35 for an entire family. Registration is available online as well as on race day.

Lily's Playground is an indoor play area to be constructed in the New River Valley Mall by the MOMS Club of Christiansburg in honor of Lily Robertson.

Lily Robertson is a sweet Christiansburg 3 year old who was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) in July 2012. MLD is a painful and eventually terminal genetic disease in which late infantile patients, like Lily, have a life expectancy of about 5 years. Unfortunately, there is currently no known cure.
