The Sun Music Hall welcomes Mason Via & Friends to the stage on Friday, August 23rd.

Mason Via & Friends play a wide variety of music from folk and blues to reggae and jazz; their musical horizons are never limited. His band currently includes bass player, Gopal Semeta, and percussionist, Vish Browning. Attending the Hare Krishna temple in Sandy Ridge, NC is what really brought the group together, thus ending Mason’s search for musical companions.

Mason Via and his band have currently been rallying support for Mason’s father, David Via, who was severely injured in a random brutal attack by a stranger back in June. The attack left David Via with a broken jaw, missing teeth, and a skull fracture.
