Join the Sustainability Celebration at the Blacksburg Farmers Market on Wednesday, September 18th.

Join the Town of Blacksburg, Sustainable Blacksburg, and Virginia Tech in celebrating sustainability! Representatives from each group and various other sustainability-related clubs, organizations, and departments will have booths across the street from the Farmers Market where they will be ready to chat with all interested parties about sustainability efforts on campus and throughout the Blacksburg community.

The Blacksburg Farmers Market offers local foods, crafts, flowers, music, and more in the heart of downtown Blacksburg! Come support your local farmers and artists and enjoy the benefits of a strengthened community, healthy living, and support for responsible business practices.

This event is part of Celebrate Sustainability 2013, an event celebrating eco-friendly efforts and enthusiasm in our community! The Town of Blacksburg, Virginia Tech and Sustainable Blacksburg come together each year to recognize efforts which enhance our relationship with the natural environment.
