The New River Writers Project produces and promotes literature and other works of art that preserve local history and culture, supports educational and arts initiatives, and celebrates a sense of place in Southwest Virginia.
The New River Writers Project meets 7:30 pm the second Tuesday of every month for a critique session and an occasional guest speaker at Lucie Monroe's in Christiansburg, VA.
