Glade Road Growing presents a Live Duck Egg Hunt and Lunch on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

It’s spring and our ducks are laying eggs all over the place! Help us in this real live duck egg hunt on our farm and learn all about our laying ducks. Our flock of 60+ laying ducks will be on-hand for pointless banter. Then join us after the hunt for a delicious farm-made lunch including in the cost using eggs, vegetables and meats from our farm.

Kids will be to collect real duck, chicken and maybe even some goose eggs. We will also have some chicks and ducklings that kids will be allowed to hold.

Tentative Menu includes:
• Spinach frittata (either sausage or vegetarian)
• Carrot raisin muffin
• Garden veggie salad
• Lemon curd dessert (similar to custard, using eggs from here of course)
• Water available
• Additional drinks can be purchased from Rising Silo Brewery.

This family-friendly event is especially suited for kids ages 3-7 with adult participation. Adults are $16.00 and kids ages 3 & up are $14.00. Kids ages 2 and under free with a paying adult.

Kids gloves will be provided.

Plan to arrive at 10:00 AM with clothing and shoes suitable for walking around the farm and animals.
