The Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley presents the 2024 Scrabble Tournament for Literacy on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the German Club Manor on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Join us for a fun evening of friends, food, drinks, and fun wordplay at the 2024 Scrabble Tournament for Literacy! Teams of three compete in two rounds to see who will take home the trophy.
Individuals or teams of three may register in two categories: "Just for Fun" or "Competitive".
Registration is $35.00 for individuals and $120.00 for teams of three.

100% of your registration fee goes directly to support our free adult literacy programs throughout the New River Valley.
Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available for purchase.
Doors open at 5:30 PM and the play begins at 6:15 PM.
The Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley connects community members who want to strengthen their literacy skills with trained, volunteer tutors. We provide tutoring in both basic literacy (reading and writing) and English as a second language (conversational and basic English skills) to adults in the New River Valley.
We also promote public awareness, cooperative partnerships, information sharing and referrals between literacy programs and communities.
