Description:
The Christiansburg Aquatic Center and Greenhouse Boardshop present the Skateboard Showdown 2019 with Pre-Jam Concert from Barren Minds on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Christiansburg Skate Park.

Event Schedule:
• 5:00-7:00 pm: Pre-Jam Concert with Barren Minds
• 6:00 pm: Competition Registration
• 7:00 pm: Competition begins

This year’s competition kicks it up a notch as we jam with local rock band Barren Minds. Contest will include trophies and prizes for multiple categories. Dust off your board and get ready to grind!

Categories include:
• Beginner
• Intermediate
• Advanced Street
• Best Trick Mini Ramp
• 6 Stair

The fee to compete is $10.00 and includes an event t-shirt.

Registration starts at 6:00 pm with competition starting at 7:00 pm.

Bring your lawn chair and extra cash for food provided by Hot Diggity Dogs.

In case of rain, the event will take place on Friday, September 27, 2019.

The Christiansburg Skate Park is located at 595 North Franklin Street in Christiansburg, VA next to the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.
