The Jessie Peterman Library presents the program "Garden Resiliency in a Changing Climate in Floyd County" on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
The Wild Garden Club will lead a discussion on Gardening in Floyd County in a changing climate. What foods might be easier to grow here in Floyd as climate changes?
Barbara Pleasant, experienced garden writer and local gardener will lead the discussion and share her favorite varieties that are disease resistant and can tolerate wet growing conditions.
Join the conversation with your own experiences, and bring seed to share if you have extra.
Meeting will be followed by an optional pot-luck.
