The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents their Wednesday Garden Talk Series featuring Gardens for Peace and Reconciliation on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Peggy Lee Hahn Garden Pavilion.
Jerzy Nowak, a Virginia Tech Professor Emeritus in Horticulture and retired Founding Director of the Center of Peace Studies and Violence Prevention will be presenting Gardens for Peace and Reconciliation.
He will give a brief overview of the function of these gardens in transformational community development, including peace, reconciliation of ecology and social justice, and restorative justice. Nowak will also focus on the role of the two gardens on the Virginia Tech campus: the existing International Peace Garden, located on the edge of Stadium Woods

All talks meet at the Peggy Lee Hahn Garden Pavilion. No charge and all are welcome. Parking pass is required for using our visitor lot.
