The Blacksburg Partnership presents the 7th Annual Blacksburg Fork and Cork, a food, wine and art festival on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at their new location in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.

This adventure for the senses will feature wines from over 20 Virginia wineries, culinary delights from local restaurants, cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs, and regional art and wine lover accessories, all enjoyed amid live music.

Most significant to this year’s festivities is a new, spacious location at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC). “This will be a huge change for us,” said President Diane Akers. “We’re excited about the opportunity to revamp our festival layout, add to our vendor space, and create an even more enjoyable experience for our guests. Fork and Cork will be bigger and better than ever.”

The festival will take place at the corner of Innovation Dr. and Tech Center Dr. In addition to onsite parking, shuttles will once again be available from ­­­the Chicken Hill parking lot and from various lots within the CRC.

Tickets will be available at both Blacksburg Kroger locations and online.

Note: Tickets may sell out as they have in past festivals. You are encouraged to purchase your tickets in advance.

ID's are required for all guests. No exceptions. Chairs are encouraged. Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash.

In addition to all the festivities, the festival will also be collecting items for Micah's Backpack, a local charitable organization that addresses food insecurity for children from low-income families by partnering with 9 Blacksburg schools.
