Radford University presents a Reading by Author Dorothy Allison as part of their Women's History Month Celebration on Monday, March 2nd in Room 203 of McGuffey Hall.

Dorothy Allison is the author of "Bastard Out of Carolina", a finalist for the 1992 National Book Award, and Cavedweller, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year; her short stories have been anthologized in Best American Short Stories 2003 and Best New Stories from the South 2003. A recipient of the Robert Penn Warren Award for Fiction (2007), Allison serves on the board of the Fellowship of Southern Writers.

This event is free and open to the public. Books will be available to purchase and a book signing will follow.
