As part of Sustainability Week 2014, enjoy a special Pecha Kucha 20 x 20 event at the Alexander Black House on Tuesday, September 16, 2014.
Bored to death with standard powerpoint presentations - regardless of topic? Ever heard of Pecha Kucha? The Sustainability Week Team is bringing you eight great speakers - Pecha Kucha style - who will be presenting on their environmental/sustainability topic of expertise or passion - BUT they're only allowed 20 slides and 20 second per slide. There will be a lot of content packed into a one hour event with discussion and refreshments to follow.

Since 2007, the Town of Blacksburg has partnered with Sustainable Blacksburg and Virginia Tech to offer a week-long slate of events in mid-September giving town residents and university students lots of ways to "Celebrate - Educate - Motivate" around sustainability issues. Altogether, there will be 16 fun, informative, and inspiring events.
