The Radford University Theatre and Cinema Department present Paul Zindel’s Pulitzer Prize-winner "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds" in Hawes Studio Theatre on February 19-22nd at 7:30 pm nightly and on Saturday, February 22nd at 2 pm.
Young Tillie has it tough, living a grinding existence with her domineering mother. Then a teacher inspires her to undertake an improbable experiment, proving in more ways than one that even in the rankest soil beauty and hope can grow.
Tickets are free; but should be picked up at the Porterfield Box Office (540-831-5289) during the week of the show. The Box Office is open from noon to 6 p.m. and one hour before the start of each performance.
