The Charles & Ona B Free Memorial Library (Dublin Library) presents their March Silent Lounge Theater featuring "City Lights" on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Join us at our Dublin branch for this all-time silent classic (and one of the first "rom-coms)! "City Lights" is a 1932 romantic comedy rated G starring Charles Chaplin (who also is a writer and the director of the film), Virginia Cherrill and Florence Lee.

Movie Synopsis:
With the aid of a wealthy erratic tippler, a dewy-eyed tramp who has fallen in love with a blind flower girl accumulates money to be able to help her medically.
