The Slate Mountain Ramblers have been a mainstay of the dance and festival culture in central and western North Carolina and southwest Virginia for 25 years and are still going strong. Headed up by fiddler, Richard Bowman from Ararat, Virginia, the Ramblers started as group of friends and morphed into a family band over the years.

Admission is free though donations will be accepted to help with travel expenses for the musicians.

The Concert Series events are held the second Saturday of each month, October through April at New River Community College's Dublin, VA campus, a Crooked Road affiliated venue.

All are welcome.

Doors open at 5:00 PM and the music starts at 6:00 PM.

Edwards Hall is located at 5251 College Drive in Dublin, VA on the Dublin, VA campus of New River Community College.
