The Virginia Center for Civil War Studies (VCCWS) presents the history talk titled "Cherokees and Unionists in Civil War Appalachia" on Tuesday, February 25, 2026 available in person in the Goodall Room of the Newman Library on the campus of Virginia Tech and online on Zoom.
Please join us for an in-person lecture on Civil War history from VCCWS Postdoctoral Associate Dr. Stuart Marshall. Marshall will speak about his own research and share some findings about Southern Unionists' claims in Montgomery County, VA.
The talk is free and open to the public.
