The Radford Public Library presents a Free Workshop titled "Hypertension 101" on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Melanie Taylor, Community Health Educator of Carilion Clinic, will talk about Hypertension. Learn the basics about hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, and learn a variety of tips and tools to work toward healthier blood pressure numbers. Stop in the library during business hours and visit the Blood Pressure Station to check your blood pressure.

Are you concerned about high blood pressure? Learn how to manage or prevent it in this free workshop!

Get your blood pressure checked and join us to understand:
• What blood pressure is
• Ways to lower or control it
• How to check your blood pressure at home

No registration needed. Just show up to this free workshop.
