Claytor Lake State Park presents the program "Birding for Beginners" on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Have you ever wondered about the birds in your area? Join Master Naturalist Judy McCord to learn all the tricks and tips of bird watching and how to identify some of our common species.
This event is geared towards beginners, but experienced birders are welcome as well.
The event is free, but the $7.00 state park parking fee per vehicle still applies.
Don't forget to bring a pair of binoculars or borrow one of ours.
The Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
