Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents their Annual Old Christmas Celebration on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
This year we will feature the very talented fiddler, Geoff White. Please join us and learn about the traditions and folklore of Old Christmas such as "Burning of the Greens", ghost stories, stack cake, musket salute to announce the birth of Jesus and crowning of the new "King or Queen of Misrule".
The event is family friendly and free to attend, but a small donation of $5.00 is encouraged to help cover expenses and allow for more educational events in 2026.
Wilderness Road Regional Museum is located at 5420 Wilderness Road in Newbern, VA.
