The Milk Parlor presents the 2025 FloydFest On-The-Rise Winners, Florencia & the Feeling, celebrate their 2nd album release "Couch Hangin'" with Erin & the Wildfire in concert on Friday, November 14, 2025.

UPDATE: Due to illness, Erin & the Wildfire will no longer be able to perform. The show will now start at 10:00 PM. DJ MagiCJsn will now close out the night.

Florencia & the Feeling is a pop-funk quintet from Johnson City, Tennessee, blending funk, jazz, Latin flair, heartfelt songwriting, and soaring harmonies. Winners of the 2025 FloydFest On-The-Rise and 2024 MerleFest Band Competitions, they deliver electrifying, groovy performances that captivate audiences across the eastern United States.

Since its conception in April 2021, the five-piece has been impressing listeners with its upbeat funky grooves, heartfelt songwriting, and all-around good vibes, loading its music with four-part harmonies, hints of jazz, and Latin roots.

The five members of the band fuse together the many genres in all of their backgrounds, funk, jazz, Nu Soul, jam, pop, indie rock, roots, and more, to create a distinctive blend. This fusion has earned the group recognition and esteemed performances, such as the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion in Tennessee/Virginia, Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival in North Carolina, and an opening slot for The Mavericks. Radio Bristol praised the band’s "tight rhythmic jams and groovy guitar riffs," while the Bristol Herald Courier called their sound "happy music" and "joyful noise", applauding that "their songs compel smiles on faces and dancing from feet".

Erin & The Wildfire is a Charlottesville-based band that has been steadily carving out a reputation for themselves in recent years as one of the most captivating live acts to come out of Central Virginia since their formation in 2012. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist and Fincastle native Erin Lunsford, the band has been making waves throughout Virginia stirring up their unique sonic melting pot of rock, soul, funk, and blues.

The group's striking sound, goofy charm, and relentless work ethic has propelled them to some of the Commonwealth's biggest stages, including a main stage spot at 2014's Lockn Festival, three appearances at Floydfest 2015, and back-to-back performances at the 2014 and 2015 Festy Experience.
