Blacksburg Community Strings and Chamber Orchestra presents their Fall Concert titled "Folk Songs & Stories" with two performances on Friday, December 5, 2025 and Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Warm Hearth Village Center.
Concert Schedule:
• Friday, December 5th at 7:00 PM
• Sunday, December 7th at 3:00 PM
Join us for an evening that celebrates the power of storytelling through melody and memory. "Folk Songs and Stories" weaves together traditional tunes, modern reflections, and beloved cinematic moments that remind us of the shared human experience behind every song.
The program includes traditional folk tunes, modern reflections, and beloved cinematic moments including Grainger, Copland, Whitacre, and Vaughn Williams as well as selections from "The Lord of the Dance," "Frozen," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," and more!
Admission is free, donations are accepted and appreciated.
Warm Hearth Village Center is located at 2387 Warm Hearth Drive in Blacksburg, VA.
