Native at Virginia Tech presents the "World War II Native American Code Talkers On Screen" featuring a Veterans Day Conversation and special Sneak Preview Screening of "Untold Valor" on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at The Lyric Theatre.

Join us for a special Veterans Day sneak preview screening of "Untold Valor", a new episodic series by Ise White (Choctaw). Filmed in Southwest Virginia with the help of local actors and crew, "Untold Valor" shares the stories of World War II veterans and Native American code talkers, honors those who served overseas, and sparks meaningful dialogue about being united in service and history.

Following the screening, enjoy a conversation and Q&A with members of the film team, including Director Ise White, Actor Derek Garza (Wichita/Comanche), and Cinematographer John Engstrom, along with Joe Martinez, grandson of Comanche code talker Charles J. Chibitty who served in the European WWII theater.

Light refreshments will be served in a reception in the lobby after the event.

Admission is free and open to the public.
