The Floyd Country Store presents Danny Knicely, Baakari Wilder and John Previti in concert on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Multi-instrumentalist Danny Knicely ignites a compelling combustion of live music and dance fueled by the explosive feet of tap dancer Baakari Wilder and incendiary hands of John Previti on double bass. Together with Danny on mandolin and guitar, these three masters of their craft perform an intricate array of jazz, original and traditional music producing a fiery inferno of rhythm, melody and improvisation.

Danny Knicely first learned music from his grandfather who has been playing dances and social events in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia since the 1930’s. Danny has been named a Master Folk Artist by his home-state of Virginia and has participated in an apprenticeship sponsored by the Virginia Folklife Program.

Danny has also been a mentor in the prestigious Young Artists in Residence Program at Strathmore Hall in Maryland. As a multi-instrumentalist, Danny has the chameleon-like ability to blend into almost any musical situation. He has participated in countless recordings and has appeared with many notable Bluegrass, Old Time, Swing, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Folk, Latin, Country, Irish, Americana, and World Music artists.

Tap-dancer Baakari Wilder is known internationally for starring in the hit Broadway show Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk. He’s delighted audiences around the world in places such as the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and oversees in France, Africa, Brazil, Germany, Japan and Russia.

Bassist John Previti is best known for his 18 year stint with the amazing guitar master, Danny Gatton, and has performed with many others such as Les Paul, Herb Ellis, Charlie Byrd, Big Joe Maher and Paul Simon.

General admission tickets are $25.00 and $30.00 for reserved seating.
