Eastern Divide Brewing and the New River Blues Society presents the 2025 Blues, Brews & Bloodys November Concert with music from JoJo Stockton, Dara James and Mojo Parker on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Enjoy an afternoon of cold beer, Bloody Marys, and more blues than you can handle!

This is our last Blues, Brews, and Bloody's of the season! And it's sure to be an awesome one featuring JoJo Stockton, Dara James, and Mojo Parker.

As band leader and guitarist for Hott Sauce, Franklin County native JoJo Stockton is no stranger to the Roanoke music scene, where he currently is based. If you’re a fan of neo-soul, R&B, funk or old school music, make plans to see JoJo Stockton.

Dara James is a blues vocalist and guitarist from Lynchburg, Virginia. He is also the frontman for Dara James and the Soul Disciples boasting award winning original songwriting mixed with refreshing covers of blues, soul, funk and rock.

Dara started his professional gigging music career at only 11 years of age playing harmonica for the popular New River Valley-based band, Upland Express. Playing alongside his father and twin brothers, Barry and Garry Collins, Dara travelled with Upland Express all around Virginia for almost 10 years, opening up for national acts and recording a CD together when Dara was only 13 years old. Dara recorded his first solo album when he was 17.

From there, Dara found a popular blues band in Central Virginia known as the Jon Spear Band, where his talent as a quadruple-threat musician became even more apparent as a master of harmonica, vocals, electric guitar, and award-winning songwriting. Dara’s work on the band’s three CDs has earned him generous praise.

Mojo Parker welcomes you to join him on his musical odyssey. His voice is recognized over the Blue Ridge Mountains, down to the Gulf Coast, and into the heart and soul of Memphis, Tennessee.

As a two time Semi-Finalist and recent 2020 Finalist of the International Blues Challenge, Mojo is getting recognition and well received attention for his raw, intimate and passionate performance style.

Blending a soulful sound with a new and refreshed look at old time classics, you’ll be transported back to a time where songs were real life stories that told the tales of the traveling troubadours of the Blues.

Mojo’s talents don’t just rest in solo acoustic blues and folk music. He has recently created The Mojo Parker Express which is a eclectic sound incorporating a groove concoction of funk, rock n roll, soul and Latin flavors.
