Last Call Animal Foundation presents the 2nd Annual "Bourbon, Blues, & BBQ", a Little Big Dog Rescue Benefit event on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at The Bad Apple in Pembroke, VA.
Event Schedule:
• 5:30 PM: Doors Open
• 6:00 PM: Cash Bar Opens
• 6:00-7:00 PM: Cocktail Hour
• 7:00 PM: Dinner Service Begins
• 7:00-9:00 PM: Music from Bill Hoffman's Blues Band
We're bringing together smoky BBQ, smooth bourbon, and live blues by Bill Hoffman’s Blues Band, all in support of Little Big Dog Rescue!
Tickets include a fresh, hot apple fritters during cocktail hour and a fully plated three course seated BBQ dinner catered by The Happy Hog.
Dinner includes:
• Shredded brussel sprout salad with apple cider vinaigrette, fresh apple, toasted walnut and feta.
• BBQ sampler (Texas style brisket, smoked wings with blueberry jalapeno sauce, St. Louis rib with honey apple barbecue sauce) served with sautéed green beans, spoon bread and deviled eggs with bourbon apple chutney and bacon.
• Brioche bread pudding with whipped cream and bourbon caramel sauce.
The bar will include a great selection of Virginia bourbon cocktails (vodka options also available). Bring actual cash because we can't accept credit cards.

Last Call Animal Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to supporting local animal rescue efforts in the New River Valley through fundraising and community outreach.

Little Big Dog Rescue is the little rescue with the big heart. They are a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue committed to improving and saving the lives of dogs.
Little Big Dog Rescue focuses on pulling dogs from local kill shelters and assisting with owner surrenders when space is available in our foster homes. Beyond rescue, LBDR gives back to our community by promoting responsible dog ownership.
