Blacksburg Master Chorale presents "Let the Pipes Resound! Music for Choir and Organ" on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Blacksburg Presbyterian Church.

Celebrating the best of what the instrument and voices can do together, with music by Brahms, Haydn, Rutter, and many more. The Blacksburg Master Chorale will be joined by the Blacksburg Children’s Chorale for a portion of the performance. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind program designed entirely around choir and pipe organ, with traditional hymns, masterful composers like John Rutter and Gustav Holst, and lots of grand, glorious sound!

General admission is $20.00, $15.00 for seniors ages 62 & up and $10.00 for students.

The Blacksburg Master Chorale is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing quality, affordable musical performances to the New River Valley and surrounding communities.

The Blacksburg Master Chorale engages audiences and patrons with musically vivid performances of classical and traditional choral works. We intend to "inflame the coldest heart" to experience the full beauty and intensity of this rich music with works both new and old, spanning the history of choral music.

The Blacksburg Children's Chorale was established in 2006 as part of the Blacksburg Master Chorale's educational outreach. The Children's Chorale is under the direction of Patrice Yearwood, Artistic Director, and Richard Sherman, Assistant Director.

Children ages 8-18 are encouraged to audition for the Allegro Choir, Brio Choir, Camerata Choir, or Advanced Ensemble. Auditions are held in Spring each year. The Blacksburg Children’s Chorale collaborates with the Blacksburg Master Chorale, as well as presenting its own concert series.
