The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation presents a Mike Hudson Talk titled "Postmortem Photography Talk" on Thurday, October 30, 2025 at Alexander Black House & Cultural Center in Blacksburg, VA.

Mike Hudson, Historic Smithfield’s Executive Director, will discuss Victorian-era postmortem photography and mourning practices. Mike also contributed to a book entitled "Beyond the Dark Veil" which will be available for purchase during the exhibit run.

Light refreshments will be provided.

The talk begins at 6:30 PM.
