The Blacksburg Newcomers Club of the New River Valley is holding their October Meeting on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Blacksburg, VA
Meeting Schedule:
• 9:00 AM: Doors open/social time
• 9:30 AM: Welcome Announcements
• 9:45 AM: Community Outreach Speaker
• 10:10-11:00 AM: Featured Speaker
Please join the Blacksburg Newcomers for our meetings held on the second Tuesday of each month. The featured November speaker is Becca Rainey, owner of Blacksburg artist market and Original Frameworks. Becca will introduce us to works from the region and state's most admired artists and craftspeople.
Meetings begin with an unstructured social time with coffee & refreshments followed by a fun, informative program beginning with a local speaker from a Community Outreach group. A featured speaker will then highlight an aspect of the New River Valley.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Blacksburg Newcomers Club is a social club focusing on building friendships & community for all in the New River Valley.
If you would like to join our Club, annual membership is open to everyone in the New River Valley, from brand new residents to long- timers. The cost is $30.00 annually with the year beginning in September.
