The Virginia Tech Kroehling Advanced Materials Foundry presents an Open Foundry Day on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Virginia Tech's Foundry is having our Open Foundry Day! Everyone (ages 8 & up to enter the foundry) is invited to come out and learn about the foundry and make their very own scratch plate. For the season, we will also have pumpkin carving and a pumpkin pour!

Admission is free.

The Virginia Tech Kroehling Advanced Materials Foundry is located at 145 Inventive Lane in Blacksburg, VA.
