Description:
Porky Pastures presents a Farmer's Market, Feed the Animals and U-Pick Sunflowers on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Celebrate the season with us on the farm! We’re bringing together fall festivities, local goods, and the clean, Pharma-free meats you’ve been waiting for. Our farm stand will be fully stocked—including beef and lamb, just back in stock—making this the perfect time to stock up for your freezer.
Alongside our meats, you’ll find fresh sourdough and sweet treats from friends of the farm, plus an organic produce stand. Families can enjoy a small petting zoo with the chance to feed the animals for a small fee, fall games and crafts, and a farm-themed photo spot. If our fall-colored blooms are ready, the U-Pick Flowers will be open too!
It’s a day of wholesome fun, community, and the best local food you can feel good about feeding your family.
Admission is free.
Please park along the farm side of the road. Signs will guide you. There’s plenty of space, but it’s a small country road, so drive slowly and don’t pull too far into the grass because there’s a ditch.
No dogs or pets are allowed. This is a hard rule, no exceptions. And, there are no public bathrooms.
Porky Pastures is located at 6892 Bleak Ridge Road in Hiwassee, VA.
