The McConnell Library, on the campus of Radford University, continues their Fall 2025 Semester Music Mondays series with Tim Thornton on Monday, October 6, 2025 inside the Bird Room.

Don't miss this free incredible musical performance from Radford University's very own Tim Thornton who doubles as an Appalachian Studies professor! We will be jamming out to a mix of styles ranging from old-time to Americana.

Tim Thornton is an award-winning local writer. He teaches English Composition and Appalachian literature at Virginia Western Community College.

Tim lives in Shawsville, VA with his family.
