Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents their "Spirits Along the Great Road" Wagon Rides and Fall Fair on Sunday, October 19, 2025 hosted at Historic Belle-Hampton Farm in Dublin, VA.
Enjoy wagon rides, music and fall fun in a hauntingly historic afternoon at Belle Hampton Farm! Join us to learn local history while enjoying a mule drawn wagon ride around the actual place where history was made. Belle-Hampton is the home of Virginia Governor James Hoge Tyler and through our living history presentation, participants will learn about the lives of people who once called the place home. Characters such as Governor Tyler, Revolutionary soldiers Lt. Daniel Howe and James Hoge, Sara Armstead, Private Price, Dr. Charles Pepper, a noble Cherokee guide and many others will engage with guests and share their stories on a 30-minute wagon ride.
A true history lesson does not have to be scary and this family friendly living history event is meant to be educational as well as enjoyable.
In addition to the wagon rides, a mini fall fair will also be shared at farm pavilion featuring area museums and organizations. Live music provided by the Indian Run Stringband Duo from 4:00-6:00 PM, historical games, hands-on crafts, historical-themed photo ops and fall inspired refreshments, dancing are all included for a fun filled afternoon of local history. There will also be various vendors and a raffle for a limited edition print of Belle-Hampton by P. Buckley Moss, antique quilt and a beautiful bicentennial edition log cabin bottle filled with the delicious museum raised honey.
Tickets are $40.00 per person.
Note: Children 2 years and younger are free, but must ride in a guardians lap on the wagon ride.

Due to limited number of wagon rides, pre-registration is required and rides times will be assigned once registration is completed, no day of on-site tickets available.
