The Virginia Tech Sensory Evaluation Lab requests Volunteers Needed to Taste BBQ Sauce starting on Monday, September 29, 2025 through Friday, October 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
The VT Sensory Evaluation Lab (VT SEL) is conducting a study on Barbecue Sauce and we need your help! Participants will be asked to evaluate barbecue sauce samples in a single 30-minute session. Participants will receive a $5.00 Amazon gift card as compensation, will be offered a snack after their session, and can enjoy the experience of tasting and describing barbecue sauces.
We are recruiting volunteers who are:
• 18 years or older
• Not currently pregnant
• Have no known food allergies or sensitivities
• Interested in tasting barbecue sauce with chicken nuggets
The time commitment is?one ~30-minute session.

The Virginia Tech Sensory Evaluation Lab is located at 1230 Washington Street with Room 205 within the Human and Agricultural Biosciences Building in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
