The College of Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech presents a screening of the documentary film "The Nuclear Frontier" on Friday, September 19, 2025 at The Lyric Theatre.
Event Schedule:
• 2:30-3:00 PM: Door open with Light Refreshments Served
• 3:00 PM: Opening Remarks
• 3:15-4:00 PM: The Nuclear Frontier documentary screening
• 4:00-5:00 PM: Panel Discussion
Join Virginia Tech and The Nuclear Company at the Lyric Theatre for a screening of "The Nuclear Frontier" followed by a panel discussion hosted by Virginia Tech.
This exciting new documentary explores the growing need for energy in the U.S. and how nuclear can meet this demand with resilient, stable, baseload energy. The panel will engage academics and industry professionals in a discussion about nuclear technologies, academic-industry collaborations, and where our energy future is headed.
