Hacksburg presents their 11th Annual Cider Making on Sunday, October 19, 2025 and Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Bring apples, containers, and the family for tons of fun making your own cider! The best kind of apples to bring is a variety; using only one type typically results in cider that is extremely sweet or tart.

Note: Ten pounds of apples makes about three quarts of cider.

Free for everyone in the community and no RSVP is required.

All ages are welcome at this event. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

Hacksburg is located at 1872 Pratt Drive, Suite 1620 in Blacksburg, VA within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. Enter through the covered double doors at the back of the building.
