The Embodied Brain Lab and Virginia Tech Digging in the Crates presents a Study Launch Party on Friday, September 12, 2025 in the Sandbox (Room 160) at The Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech.
Event Schedule:
• 12:00-12:30 PM: Free food and drinks
• 12:30-1:30 PM: Showing of "We Become One: The Power of the Shared Musical Experience" with Julia C. Basso, assistant professor, Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise
• 1:30-2:00 PM: Q&A Session
• 2:00-4:00 PM: DJ and dance party by DJ C.Sharp
The Embodied Brain Lab and Virginia Tech Digging in the Crates are partnering for an exciting new research study entitled, "DJing and Hip Hop music production as a clinical intervention for individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder".
We are hosting a study launch party with a DJ and dance party by DJ C.Sharp. We will also be showing "We Become One: The Power of the Shared Musical Experience" with Julia C. Basso, assistant professor, Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise followed by a Q&A Session. Free food and drinks will be available.
