Description:
The Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech presents a Tap Workshop titled "Dance That Swings" on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Blacksburg Dance Theater.

Join Ovation and Helen Hayes award-nominated dancer, singer, and choreographer John Manzari for a workshop that will get you moving to the swinging sounds of The Hot Sardines ahead of their performance at the Center for the Arts.

Participants will explore the dynamic connection between tap and live jazz, learning to become a visual and percussive instrument within the music.

Admission is free though registration is required.

Recommended for intermediate and advanced tap dancers.
