Millstone Kitchen at The Old School presents Open Preservation Hours on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Unsure of what to do with all of the produce from your garden? Don't want to make your home so steamy by heating a canning pot for hours?

Join us at Millstone Kitchen every other Wednesday from late August to October for Open Preservation Hours with canning, vacuum sealing, fermentation and fun!

Bring your produce and materials (jars, knives, vinegar, etc) to Millstone and preserve with us! Our kitchen coordinator, Lindsey, will be available to help you accomplish your projects, and we'll have vacuum bags, jars, fermentation weights, and additional materials for purchase. Books and recipes will be available for inspiration, and of course we'll draw you a bath, a water bath for canning, that is!

The cost is a recommended $10.00 donation.
