Renew the New and the New River Valley Regional Commission present Fall Into The New 2025 - Radford on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Shelter #3 within Bisset Park in Radford, VA.
Event Schedule:
• 8:00 AM: Registration Opens
• 9:00 AM: Event Kicks Off
• 12:00 PM: Lunch Served
Join Renew the New for their annual Fall Into the New Event to help clean litter and debris from the New River and stream access points held at multiple locations throughout the New River Valley.
There are a three registration options:
1. On the water: Boats provided. First come, first serve.
2. On the water: Bring your own boat and PFD.
3. Land Crew
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, gloves, bags and water. Lunch will also be served after the cleanup at 11:30 AM.
To sign-up online, visit: https://renewthenew.org/, scroll down and click on your preferred location (Radford, Montgomery or Giles) for the Fall Into The New event and complete the form.
Volunteers should wear appropriate shoes, bring sunscreen, water and bug repellent as needed. Flip flops are not recommended.
ReNew the New sponsors two annual river clean-ups. In the spring is “Ramps ‘n’ Roads” and in the fall, “Fall Into the New”. Citizens of all ages, from all areas of New River Valley, will be cleaning litter from our highways and byways, boat ramps, river and stream access points. You can register to join one of four clean up efforts: Giles, Radford, Montgomery or Floyd. Anyone interested in protecting and renewing the beautiful New River is welcome to join in.
Shelter #3 is located at 375 Berkley Williams Drive in Radford, VA.
