Hacksburg presents the workshop "Basics of LEDs" on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Illuminate your understanding of LED technology with this comprehensive introduction to light-emitting diodes. You'll learn about different types of LEDs, proper circuit design, current limiting resistors, and basic control methods including switches, potentiometers, and microcontrollers. Beyond the basics, we'll dive into LED specifications, color theory, and practical applications.

Attendees will also learn how to use addressable RGB LEDs to create dynamic lighting effects. Perfect for anyone interested in electronics, art installations, or adding lighting to maker projects.

The cost of the class is $5.00 for non-members and free for Hacksburg members.
