Warm Hearth Village continues their WHV Connection Series with the program titled "Legacy in Every Step" on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the Warm Hearth Village Center in Blacksburg, VA.
Warm Hearth Village resident and board member Karen Hanks debuts her new book "Walking in her Shoes, a playful, practical take on authentic leadership from staying true to your soles (values) to choosing the right fit for each step. Karen will speak briefly and then there is time for Q & A and book signing.
A retired senior executive at Cargill and GE, Karen holds degrees from Lee University (Business Education), the University of Tennessee (M.S.), the University of Dallas (MBA), Organizational Development), and Harvard Business School (Executive MBA). Known for mentoring unconventional talent, she develops leaders and rallies teams to deliver breakthrough results.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Books will be available for sale for $15.00 each with proceeds supporting the Karen L. Hanks Leadership Endowment.
