The Lyric Theatre kicks off their Live at the Lyric 2025-2026 Concert Series with Addie Levy and special guest Virginia Hollow on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Addie Levy is a captivating bluegrass-country artist who effortlessly weaves tradition and vision into exciting, progressive movements. Hailing from the Heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Radford, Virginia, Addie has emerged as a true multi-talent in the world of music, captivating audiences with her mandolin, voice, songwriting, and fiddling skills.

Addie Levy is a multi-instrumental singer and songwriter from Southwest Virginia and has been playing in the bluegrass world since the age of 10. Addie has fronted two bluegrass bands, and is now booking under own name as a solo, duo, and full band.

As an award winning mandolin player, her instrumental work is front and center of her performance. She now plays, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass. Crafting her original music from her Appalachian roots and progressive innovation, she has recorded and shared her songs at renowned venues like the Bluebird Cafe, The Listening Room, and Gatlinburg Songwriters Festival.

For eight years, she has worked seasonal contracts with Dollywood Theme Park as a musician and emcee. She also has performed all over the East Coast at venues such as The Floyd Country Store, IBMA, SPGBMA, Merlefest, Northern Indiana Bluegrass Festival, OBX Bluegrass festival, Old Songs Festival and countless others.

Virginia Hollow is a mixture of Americana, bluegrass, country, indie and rock. A singer-songwriter band that performs songs written by lead singer Carrie Hinkley, along with an occasional handpicked cover or two.

Virginia Hollow is a band and a sound born from the hills, valleys and mountains of Appalachia. Their performances and music take you on a journey fraught with raw emotions and stories of love, trust, betrayal and longing. When all is said and done, the haunting melodies of Carrie Hinkley's soulful voice are hard to shake off and instead keep returning and replaying in one's mind, like an untamed mantra of beauty and tragedy. This is a band whose time has come and needs to be reckoned with.

Live At The Lyric is a semi-annual series of live entertainment events at the Lyric Theatre, including music, family events, comedy, theatre and much more! These events are programmed in-house by The Lyric staff to provide the community with a diverse selection of arts entertainment.

Doors open at 7:15 PM and the show begins at 8:00 PM.
