Description:
The Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), in partnership with Housing and Shelter Programs of New River Community Action, presents the 2025 Strides for Shelter 5k Run & Walk on Saturday, August 30, 2025 starting and ending at VCOM.

Together, let's address the crisis of shelter insecurity in Southwest Virginia and work towards a future where everyone has a safe and secure place to call home. All runners and walkers are welcome.

All proceeds will go to the New River Community Action Prevention, a homelessness prevention organization.

Registration is a $20.00 donation to sign up.
