The Blacksburg Wine Lab presents Wine & Chocolate with Quinta de la Rosa on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Join us for an indulgent evening of wine and chocolate as we welcome Kit Weaver, Head of Marketing and Sales at Quinta de la Rosa, a family-owned estate nestled in Portugal’s breathtaking Douro Valley.

Kit brings a personal touch to the evening having spent his childhood summers at La Rosa, worked harvests across Portugal and Chile, and helped launch both the Quinta’s brewery and its acclaimed restaurant, Tim’s Terrace. Now representing the winery across Europe, Kit will guide us through a tasting experience that showcases La Rosa’s distinct style: elegant, expressive, and deeply rooted in tradition.

This one-night-only event features a thoughtfully curated lineup of dry reds and iconic Ports, each paired with artisan chocolate for a decadent tasting journey.
