The Blacksburg Farmers Market presents the Dog Days of Summer event along their regular farmers market with live music from Barry LeNoir on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Market Square Park.
The Dog Days of Summer event will focus on happy dog ownership complete with adoptable dogs from Giles County ASPCA, information from Mountain View Humane Society, and training demos starting at 1:00 PM. If you own a dog, or thinking about getting one, don't miss this event!
The Blacksburg Farmers Market offers local meats, organic produce, baked goods, crafts, flowers and more in the heart of downtown Blacksburg! Support your local farmers and artists and enjoy the benefits of a strengthened community, healthy living, and support for responsible business practices.
Barry LeNoir will perform from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Barry LeNoir is a musician from Floyd, Virginia playing "sentimental and irreverent" acoustic Rock-Folk-Pop-Americana and several surprises from his deep and eclectic catalog of over 600 new and old covers.
Reverent and raucous, sacred, saucy, and always fun; acoustic guitar and harmonica songs as fit for the pub as they are for the pulpit.

The Blacksburg Farmers Market is open every Saturday April through October from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Market Square Park in downtown Blacksburg, VA. The Wednesday Market is open from April through November from 2:00-6:00 PM. From November-December, the Saturday hours change to 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. From January-March, the Saturday hours change to 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Market Square Park is located at 100 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
