The Friends of Claytor Lake (FOCL) present their 2025 Poker Run on the Water on Saturday, August 23, 2025 starting and ending at Rock House Marina.

Event Schedule:
• 11:00 AM: Registration Begins
• 12:00 PM: Launch at Rock House Marina
• 3:30 PM: End of Event at Rock House Marina

Enjoy fun, food, boats, prizes and whole lot of lake spirit! Spend time on the water stopping at five locations on the lake to draw cards and build your poker hand. The Poker Run is open to all types of boats and personal watercraft. At the end of the event, back at Rock House Marina, winners will be announced for best and worst poker hands and prizes will be awarded. There will also be food and music available.

The cost to enter is $30.00 per boat with two people the day of the event and $25.00 to pre-register in advance by emailing info@focl.org. Any extra hands that want to participate are $10.00 each. Children's hands are $5.00 each.

The Poker Run Fundraiser helps support the mission of The Friends of Claytor Lake to support additional conservation projects to keep Claytor Lake clean safe and beautiful.

A map of all stops will be provided along with the poker run rules the day of the event.

In person registration begins at 11:00 AM and launch starts at 12:00 PM after you sign in.

The Friends of Claytor Lake is a 501(C)3 non-profit started in 1992 to address a chemical spill that turned Peak Creek, one of Claytor Lake’s main tributaries, red. The organization has grown since then encompassing many areas of work on the lake such as debris clean up, water quality, habitat formation, boater safety, and more. The organization is dedicated to protecting the environment of Claytor Lake for all.
