The Blacksburg Newcomers Club of the New River Valley presents their September Monthly Meeting and Annual Kickoff Meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Blacksburg, VA.
Meeting Schedule:
• 9:00 AM: Doors open/social time
• 9:30 AM: Welcome Announcements
• 9:40 AM: Community Outreach Speaker
• 10:00 AM: Guest Speaker
Please join the Blacksburg Newcomers for our kickoff and monthly meeting. The featured September speaker is Joseph Collins from the World War II Museum of the New River Valley.
Meetings begin with social time with refreshments and followed by a fun, informative program. The program begins with a local speaker from an outreach group followed by a featured speaker from the community who highlights an aspect of the NRV.
This event is free and open to the public.
Coffee and refreshments are provided in a unstructured social time 9:00-9:30 AM.
The Blacksburg Newcomers Club is a social club focusing on building friendships & community for all in the New River Valley. Meetings begin with social time with refreshments and followed by a fun, informative program. Monthly member meetings on the second Tuesday of each month (September-May) from 9:00-11:30am at Luther Memorial Church.
If you would like to join our Club, annual membership is open to everyone in the New River Valley, brand new residents to long timers, and is only $30.00 annually.
Luther Memorial Lutheran Church is located at 600 Prices Fork Road in Blacksburg, VA.
