The Blacksburg Farmers Market continues their regular farmers market with a special Watercolor Wednesday and Jim Korb in concert on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Market Square Park.
It's a special Watercolor Wednesday at the Farmers Market with the theme "Finding the Milky Way" from 3:00-5:00 PM led by Virginia Tech's Perspective Art Gallery. Enjoy the process of painting whether you have experience or not. Join us in our new social practice exhibit "Finding the Milky Way" and learn why dark skies at night are important to the world. We will provide materials to create a celestial body that you may donate to the exhibit to be held at the Perspective Art Gallery in 2026. The event will also occur on Wednesday, August 27th at the same time.
Jim Korb will perform from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Jim Korb is an acoustic musician and guitarist based in Southwest, VA and a member of the band Stonehouse.
"Just a singer; a natural-born guitar ringer, playing and singing a mix of Classic Country, Eagles, CCR, Skynyrd, and a little bit of everything else from John Denver to The Blues."

The Blacksburg Farmers Market is open every Saturday April through October from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Market Square Park in downtown Blacksburg, VA. The Wednesday Market is open from April through November from 2:00-6:00 PM. From November-December, the Saturday hours change to 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. From January-March, the Saturday hours change to 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Market Square Park is located at 100 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
