The Floyd County Historical Society presents the local moonshine historical storytelling event "Likker - at Home & Away" on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at The Floyd Center for the Arts.
Step back in time, where Linda Stanley, Managing Director of the Franklin County, VA Historical Society, will share captivating stories from the heyday of moonshining. As a passionate historian and gifted storyteller, Linda brings to life the exhilarating and often outrageous tales that helped shape the history of our region. This engaging event offers a fascinating glimpse into the area’s spirited and storied past.
All attendees will receive discount coupons from Five Mile Mountain Distillery located in Floyd, VA.
