Outerspace presents Jeff Liverman in concert on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Jeff Liverman is guitarist, songwriter, and luthier living in Floyd VA. He has spent the last 10 years studying songs from the 1920’s and 30’s. Jeff was inspired by the classic collection of music, The Anthology of American Folk Music, to delve deeply in the early period of recorded music.

Prior to moving to Floyd, Jeff played music and recorded in Richmond with his band Dirtball and most recently he helped launch a street music scene in Danville, VA. Mr. Liverman is currently Executive Director for the Jacksonville Center for the Arts (Floyd VA), has over 30 years of prior experience teaching science and physics and 25 years of experience in museum settings including work in community-wide collaboration, fundraising, strategic planning, project management, program and exhibit development, and exhibit prototyping and fabrication.
